Timothy Lange, 35, of New Britain, was arrested by Connecticut State Police detectives, along with state and federal law enforcement, after a lengthy investigation into the death of Jason Comes, 42, of Wilbraham, Massachusetts.
Comes was found dead inside a vehicle on a remote stretch of Durkee Road in Somers in Aug. 2021.
Investigators determined Lange was a known member of the Outlaws Motorcycle Gang. His arrest on Wednesday, Feb. 19, involved officers from multiple agencies, including Homeland Security Investigations and the Enfield Police Department.
Lange is facing a slew of felony charges, including felony murder, first-degree kidnapping, and first-degree robbery. He was being held on a $1.5 million bond, police said.
He is scheduled to appear in Rockville Superior Court on Thursday.
Authorities have not released details on the motive behind Comes' killing, and the case remains an active investigation. The arrest warrant for Lange is currently sealed.
